A new trial has begun in Argentina for the murder of Paulina Lebbos. The trial started today in Tucumán province against two of the main accused: Víctor César Soto, accused of aggravated homicide, and Sergio Kaleñuk, accused of aggravated cover-up.
The case already has convicted individuals, including the provincial police hierarchy, a prosecutor, and the former Secretary of Security. According to the investigation, on the day of the murder, Paulina went out dancing at the Gitana nightclub in San Miguel de Tucumán to celebrate passing a subject in her Communications Social degree program. Around six in the morning, she took a remis (taxi) with her friend Virginia Mercado, and from that moment, her ordeal began.
After the nightclub, she went to the home of her partner, César Soto, and it was in that house that the crime occurred. Similarly, it was reported that during Monday, the format for the hearings will be defined. Paulina's body was found 11 days later on Route 341, at kilometer 3.
